The Electric Factory chooses Agileday to scale creative tech operations across the US and the Americas

The Electric Factory, a creative innovation company trusted by brands including Walmart, Netflix, and Meta, has chosen Agileday’s AI-powered professional services automation (PSA) platform to connect staffing, time reporting, and project performance across its US and Latin American footprint.

Headquartered in Montevideo (Uruguay) with offices in Puerto Rico, Mexico and the US, The Electric Factory blends strategy, design, and technology to create award-winning AR, VR and AI-powered experiences. With approximately 100 in-house experts and a large vendor network, the team needed a connected operating platform to replace manual, fragmented tools and give leaders and producers an integrated view of operations.

“We wanted an operations platform that matches the ambition and pace of our work across Montevideo, San Juan, New York, San Francisco, and Miami: fast, transparent, and collaborative,” said Juan Doe, COO at The Electric Factory (pictured). “Agileday gives our teams one place to plan, staff, and learn from the data without slowing the creative process.”
“These guys are really special,” added Jani Folland, US Lead and Partner at Agileday, “The Electric Factory is a SoDA (Society of Digital Agencies) member with serious creative cred - exactly the kind of multidisciplinary team Agileday was built for.”

How Agileday is powering connected operations

Before Agileday, The Electric Factory relied on a fragmented toolset - separate systems for staffing projects, tracking progress, reporting time, and managing vendors. While each tool served its purpose, they operated in isolation, creating silos and manual effort.

With Agileday, that’s now replaced with:

  • Connected visibility: Salesforce opportunities link directly into Agileday, where they can be matched with people by skills, availability, interest, and margin.
  • Collaboration at scale: In-house staff, freelancers, and vendors working together in one platform.
  • People-first design: Intuitive workflows that creatives and technologists can easily adopt.
  • Higher engagement: Reducing admin, freeing people to focus on meaningful work and put their hand up for the projects they’re most excited about.
  • Scalable operations: Flexibility to support new geographies, clients, and delivery models.
  • Real-time insights: Connected data and reporting across staffing, projects, and financials.
“What stood out most was the usability,” said Juan “Agileday struck the right balance - it’s structured enough to give us clarity and connected data, but still simple enough for creatives and technologists to adopt quickly. It takes away the manual burden and lets our teams focus on the work that matters.”

The rollout

Agileday and The Electric Factory collaborated on a production pilot using live data, building the foundation for rollout. With the full transition from previous platforms now complete, their teams are officially live on Agileday.

Strengthening presence in the US and entering LATAM

This engagement extends Agileday’s creative agency presence in the US while marking its entry into LATAM. For agencies that pride themselves on innovation and global delivery, The Electric Factory’s choice signals that operational clarity can be both connected and creative-friendly.
