Product update: June 2025

Jussi Virtanen
June brought not only sunshine but also several useful updates.

Summary

We've made some delicious new additions to our product. Here’s what we’ve been up to in June:

  • Deviation analysis: View deviations between allocated and realized work. It’s possible to view values in hours, percentages, or FTEs.
  • Monthly time reporting alert: To prevent revenue leakage, we prompt users to confirm if they attempt to submit fewer than the allocated monthly hours.
  • Projects overview update: Filtering by project type and the ability to display contracted, weighted, or total values.
  • Improvements and fixes: API additions, UI tweaks, performance improvements, and more.

Ready to dive in? Let’s go.

Deviation analysis

In the Allocations page’s People tab, it’s now possible to view deviations between allocated and realized work in hours, percentages, or FTEs. This makes it easy to identify when allocation is higher or lower than what is actually reported.

This feature is behind a feature flag, so contact us to enable it. The feature is currently only available to admins and HR admins.

Monthly time reporting alert

Sometimes people forget to report some of the allocated hours they’ve worked. And that’s precisely what our new monthly time reporting alert will prevent. It will prompt users if they attempt to submit fewer hours than what has been allocated to them, so they can either confirm these reduced hours or make adjustments.

This feature is also behind a feature flag, so contact us to enable it.

Projects overview update

We’ve added two nifty features to the Projects page Overview tab for viewing financial values:

  • Project type filter: Show any combination of the available project types (internal, external, absence, and opportunity).
  • Value type selection: Show contracted, weighted, or total values.

With these updates, it’s simple to view, for example, the weighted values of all opportunities, providing a clear overview of the business potential.

Improvements and fixes

Every month comes with plenty of minor improvements, and June was no exception.

  • Email notifications now include the name of the sender's organization, making it clear to the recipient where the email originated.
  • It’s now possible to delete customers if there are no projects, opportunities, or leads associated with them. This feature is primarily intended for removing erroneous CRM import data.
  • Settings tables are now more compact, allowing users to view more data at a glance.
  • Region and Seniority were added to the Opening API.
  • API performance was improved across the board.
  • Multiple adjustments and fixes were made to time reporting.
  • On the People page, the Location column was divided into two columns: Office and Business Country.
  • The Growth plan AI chat is now more accurate with proposed goals and schedules.

That's it for June, see you again next month. Until then, let us know if you have any questions.
