Product update: July 2025

Summary

It’s been a warmer-than-average month here in Finland, so we decided to cool things down a bit with our new Freeze feature, among other things. Here you go:

• Freeze: Prevent time entry changes after a certain period of time.
• Currency additions: Custom currencies via API and multi-currency support in project overview.
• AI update: More natural conversation and other improvements.
• Improvements and fixes: Pulse and Survey fixes, API additions, and more.

Freeze

In time reporting, accuracy and data integrity are essential, especially for payroll, invoicing, and project analytics. To prevent accidental changes to past time tracking data, we’ve developed Freeze, which allows you to lock (freeze) a week or a month after a specific period of time.

When a month or week is frozen, time entries within that period can no longer be edited or deleted. If updates are necessary (for example, someone forgot to log their hours), it’s possible to temporarily unfreeze a user’s time card.

Freeze is an optional feature and can be activated with a feature flag. Read the time reporting article for details.

Currency additions

We have two juicy updates for companies working with multiple currencies:

• Custom currencies and exchange rates through our API
• Multi-currency support in the project overview page

As some currencies are not available through ECB, we’ve made it possible to use any currency and exchange rate by importing them through our API. Additionally, it’s also possible to use a custom exchange rate for ECB-supported currencies through the API. Read more about the details in our localization article. 

Another neat update is on the project overview page, where it’s now possible to display financials in your preferred currency.

AI update

Thanks to our latest update to our AI, conversations with AI have become denser and more precise, making messaging feel more natural and fluid. To test the improved experience, create a new growth plan.

Improvements and fixes

In addition to new features, we’re continually improving our product, one fix at a time.

• Pulse and Survey notifications were sometimes sent prematurely due to time zone handling. Now notifications are sent when they should be.
• Experience API now allows importing and managing users' CV data (work experience, project history, education, and training information).
• The layout for the opportunity and project views was adjusted and improved for better usability.
• The growth plan and team blueprint AI sometimes suggested dates in the past. Now the model will only suggest future dates.
• The opening change log was redesigned.
• Performance was improved in many places, especially in the allocation tables.
