Once in a while, it’s worthwhile to take some time and improve on things that, well, require improving. Here’s what that looked like in August:
Let’s jump right into the details.
SCIM, or System for Cross-domain Identity Management, is an application-level protocol that automates the provisioning (and deprovisioning) of users and groups across different systems and applications. For example, when a company hires an employee, their information is entered once in a source system (such as Microsoft Entra). Entra then communicates with Agileday by calling Agileday’s API, which follows the SCIM standard, to automatically create the necessary accounts. If the user’s details change or the employee leaves, Entra updates or removes the accounts in Agileday accordingly, ensuring that all changes are reflected automatically.
We’re currently onboarding some of our customers to start using SCIM-based provisioning with Agileday. If you’re interested, contact your customer success representative for more information.
To ensure our platform is not only usable but also delightful to use, we continually improve performance and accessibility.
For performance, we’ve improved both our API and UI to ensure a snappy experience. For example, we’ve refactored several views and API endpoints, including timesheets, allocations, people, talent finder, and skill management, among others.
We have also recently conducted an accessibility audit and have since addressed all critical findings, as well as many of the minor issues. We are committed to building a platform that’s accessible to everyone.
We recognize that updating project descriptions and other metadata requires time and effort, which is why we’ve introduced our AI enrichment capabilities to projects, in addition to opportunities. Simply provide relevant project information (files, emails, etc.), and the AI fills the project description, skills, and offering for easier matching of the right talent.
Another month, another bunch of meaningful improvements and fixes, s'il vous plaît:
